Honor to the Feet

They lead us where we need to go

“Feet That Remember”

Feet are the first to know the rhythm,

The quiet drumming of the earth beneath.

They listen before the heart does,

Learning the pulse of life through skin and bone.

With each step they whisper stories

Of journeys begun, of paths discovered,

Of courage rising from the ground

And lifting the body into motion.

Feet hold memory long before the mind,

Carrying the echoes of ancestral dances

Worn into arches,

Pressed into the tender soles.

When they move, the whole body awakens.

When they root, the spirit steadies.

When they leap, the soul remembers

That joy has always lived here.

So dance with your feet first

Let them guide you into belonging,

Let them speak the language of earth and breath,

And let them return you

To the place where movement becomes prayer.
