A numinous dancing path to love

A remembrance of who you are

I have a question for you.

What if heaven was here on earth?

What if it lived in your breath, your body, and the way you meet each moment?

What if the sacred was not somewhere beyond, but waiting to be embodied within you?

This retreat is an invitation to enter that possibility not as an idea, but as a lived experience. Drawing inspiration from the Gospel of Mary and the teachings of Mary Magdalene and Jesus Christ, we explore a path of inner awakening rooted in presence, love, and direct knowing.

Through sacred, embodied dance practices inspired by Biodanza, we reconnect with the wisdom of the body as a gateway to the divine. Movement becomes prayer.

Presence becomes revelation. In a supportive and intentional group field, we will cultivate states of openness, compassion, and unity, touching the living experience of heaven as a quality of being, here and now.

This is not about doctrine, but about remembering. Not about reaching somewhere else, but about transcending and awakening to what is already alive within you.

Come to move, to feel, and to rediscover the sacred woven into every step of your life.

Seeing with the Eye of the Heart trough Movement and Contemplation

A weekend embodied retreat inspired by the Gospel of Mary Magdalene

You were not made to search for the sacred from a distance. You were made to become it.

THE INVITATION

There is a gospel that was buried for centuries. It is one that speaks not of sin and unworthiness, but of a radical inner knowing. A teaching that says the divine does not live above the clouds, but inside you, accessible right now, through the body, through presence, through love.

This is the Gospel of Mary Magdalene. And it has been waiting for you.

Drawing on the visionary work of theologian and author Meggan Watterson whose groundbreaking Mary Magdalene Revealed resurrects this ancient text as a living map for our time; this weekend retreat goes beyond intellectual study. We go where the teaching actually points: inward. Into the body. Into silence. Into the felt experience of heaven here on earth.

WHAT THIS RETREAT IS

This is not a lecture. It is not a Bible study. It is a path to love through the exploration of the numinous.

This is an embodied journey,  an weekend of movement, meditation, contemplative practice, and soul-deep inquiry designed to awaken what Jesus called the “nous” the eye of the heart: the inner seeing that dissolves the illusion of separation and reveals the sacred in everything.

The Gospel of Mary teaches that there is no sin only the consequences of turning away from our own nature. This weekend, we turn back.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE

  • Heartfelt teachings from the sacred text
  • Guided somatic and embodied practices that help you feel the teachings, not just understand them
  • Meditations drawn from the mystical tradition of Mary Magdalene
  • Movement that opens the body as a vessel for the sacred that connects us to life
  • Sacred circle sharing and witnessed transformation in community
  • Contemplative practices you can carry home and return to for a lifetime
  • Moments of genuine stillness — where heaven and earth are no longer separate

WHAT YOU WILL TAKE AWAY

  • A living, personal relationship with your own inner knowing
  • Freedom from the spiritual wound of unworthiness
  • Tools for embodied prayer and contemplation you can practice daily
  • A felt sense — not just a concept — of the divine within you
  • A new way of reading your own life as sacred text
  • Community with others walking a heart-centered spiritual path
  • A homecoming to yourself

WHO THIS IS FOR

This retreat is for you if…

  • You feel called to a spirituality rooted in direct experience, not doctrine
  • You are drawn to the feminine face of the sacred
  • You have read or are curious about Meggan Watterson's Mary Magdalene Revealed and want to go deeper
  • You sense that your body holds wisdom your mind cannot access
  • You are ready to stop seeking the divine outside yourself
  • You are craving a true spiritual community built on authenticity, not performance

No prior knowledge of the Gospel of Mary is required ... only an open heart.

THE APPROACH

Every session of this retreat is designed to move you from the head into the heart — from information into transcendence.

We work with the text of the Gospel of Mary not as history, but as a living mirror. Each teaching becomes an invitation: to soften, to sense, to see. Through sacred movement connecting us to the other and the universe and inquiry, you will discover what the early mystics knew... that the kingdom is not a destination.

It is a homecoming happening right now, inside the body you already have.

A NOTE FROM YOUR GUIDE

Michelle Dubreuil-your teacher and facilitator

Some callings arrive quietly. Others arrive as a consecration.

It is the deepest honor of my life to serve as an ordained Priest in the Order of Melchizedek, Sanctuary of the Beloved which is a lineage of sacred service that transcends denomination, doctrine, and division. Each Priest ordained within this order carries legal ordination under The Sanctuary of the Beloved, an incorporated, non-denominational church recognized in New York State and across the United States. What that means in practice is simple: I am here, fully and legally, to hold the sacred moments of your life.

Birth. Marriage. Passing. The thresholds that crack us open and ask us to remember what is holy.

My spiritual path has led me deep into feminine theology and the early Gnostic church, those luminous, often suppressed traditions that honored the sacred feminine, the wisdom of direct experience, and the divine light living inside every human being. That path is not merely academic for me. It lives in my body, in my practice, in every gathering I create.

From that devotion, Sanctuary Dance was born. This is a community of embodied spiritual practice where movement becomes prayer, where the goddess is not a distant myth but a living presence we can feel in our bones. I invite you to come, to move, to remember.

You are welcome at every threshold. You are welcome here. To this numinous path to love.

This retreat is open to all humans.
