Move. Deepen. become.

Weekly Class is a must for trainees!

A weekly class is essential for those in a Biodanza training school because it provides the consistent embodied experience needed to truly integrate the system’s principles. This regular immersion strengthens your personal process, deepens your emotional vocabulary, and develops the presence and sensitivity required to eventually guide others. It's where theory becomes lived experience, and where transformation takes root.

Biodanza Retreats deep your journey

Attending a longer retreat weekend is a vital part of Biodanza training, offering the depth and spaciousness needed for profound personal transformation. In this immersive setting, the continuity of practice allows you to access deeper emotional layers, build stronger connections with others, and experience the regenerative power of sustained movement and presence. It’s a chance to step outside daily life, reset your nervous system, and embody the essence of Biodanza in a way that shorter sessions simply can’t reach.

Why do the School

Applying to the Biodanza Facilitator School is an invitation to step into a life-changing journey of personal growth and professional transformation. Through deep embodiment, emotional awakening, and conscious connection, you’ll not only rediscover your authentic self—you’ll gain the skills to guide others on their own paths of healing and joy. This training weaves together personal evolution and vocational purpose, offering a heart-centered career rooted in movement, meaning, and human connection. Whether you're called to lead, to heal, or to grow, this is a path that can transform both your life and the lives of those you’ll touch.

OUR Biodanza CLASS FAQs

  • What is Biodanza?

Biodanza is a system of guided movement and music that supports emotional expression, physical vitality, and human connection. It’s not a performance-based dance—there are no steps to learn. Instead, it’s about experiencing presence, joy, and connection through movement.

  • Do I need dance experience to participate?

Not at all! No prior dance experience is needed. Biodanza is accessible to all body types and movement abilities. You’ll be guided in a safe, welcoming space to move in a way that feels natural and enjoyable for you.

  • What should I wear or bring to class?

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and bring water. We dance barefoot or in soft-soled shoes. No special gear is required—just bring yourself.

  • How long is each class?

Classes typically run about two hours, including a welcome, the movement session (called a vivencia), and a closing circle or brief reflection.

  • Can I attend just one class to try it out?

Yes! If you're an experienced Biodanza participant, you can join as a drop-in for $30 per class. If you’re new to Biodanza, we recommend starting with an intro series for $100 with our committed group to receive the full benefit of the practice. Jump right in! Or try one class for $25 and get the second one FREE.

  • What’s the benefit of regular weekly classes?

Biodanza is therapetic,  not therapy.  However, dancing weekly with the same group creates a deeper sense of trust and connection. Regular practice allows for personal integration, emotional release, and sustained transformation over time.

  • Is Biodanza therapy or counseling?

No. While Biodanza is deeply therapeutic, it is not a replacement for psychotherapy or counseling. It is a somatic and emotional wellness practice designed to support holistic health.
