Contractors
Code of Ethics for Independent Contractors/Facilitators/Didacts:
- We commit to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all aspects of our work with the School of Biodanza Maryland/DC.
- We will deliver agreed-upon services as described, on time, and to the best of our abilities.
- We will communicate clearly, honestly, and promptly with the school and its representatives regarding scheduling, fees, and any changes.
- We will maintain respectful and supportive interactions with students, staff, and fellow facilitators.
- We will represent the Biodanza system faithfully, respecting its principles and the legacy of its founder, without distortion or misappropriation.
- We will avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any potential ethical concerns to the school immediately.
- We will protect the privacy and confidentiality of all participants and any sensitive information shared with us.
- We will ensure our work environment and facilitation methods are physically and emotionally safe for all participants.
- We will not engage in any form of discrimination, harassment, or exploitation.
- We will honor agreements made with the school and accept full responsibility for the commitments we undertake.
- We certify that we are in good standing with International Biodanza Foundation -IBF and adhere to the strict ethics policies set by the Ethics Commission.
- We agree to disclose any promptly any outstanding investigations or complaints related to our professional practice which would nullify and void any contracts verbal or written.
- We agree to indemnify and hold harmless the School of Biodanza Maryland/DC from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from or related to our services and/or actions.
