Staying at another MD student's home, could also be a possibility. I will connect you all up once you apply and register officially with payment. Option #2 HOTEL The most convenient HOTEL will be RESIDENCE INN MARRIOTT HOTEL 11800 W Market Place, Fulton MD excellent location with lots of shops right outside hotel. A ride to and from venue can be organized for you from this hotel. Option #3 HOTEL Homwood Suites by HILTON -next closest 7531 Montpelier Rd Laurel, MD excellent location with shops just outside the hotel. A ride to and from the venue can be organized from this hotel. |
Bus/TrainCAR
Best option- grab some friends, share the costs and come dance! BUS OPTIONS 1. NOT THE BEST OPTION: Greyhound and Megabus go into Baltimore City and Whitemarsh and then you'd need to get a rental car or take a taxi to venue which is a 30 minute ride in good traffic. 2. THE BEST BUS OPTION FROM NORTH=BOLT BUS THIS IS THE BUS TO TAKE FROM NYC Bus lets off at Greenbelt METRO STATION (terminus). You can Uber to where you need to go upon arrival. TRAIN 3. Train- take the Amtrak from NYC (3 hours) and get off at BWI NOT Baltimore city stop. Uber to venue or to close car rental site and drive to venue. |
PlaneThe nearest and easiest AIRPORT is Baltimore (BWI)
Dulles and Reagan are 1 hour away in good traffic, a rare occurence. TRANSPORT TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT: You will need to rent a car if you come in to DULLES or REAGAN AIRPORTS as public transportation does not exist outside of big cities. BWI is closer and thus less expensive to uber from to the venue and/or be picked up. |
